DECONSTRUCTION is an immersive and poetic sculptural installation that explores memory and materiality. Through this work, everyday salvaged architectural objects and materials are transformed to prompt a profound reflection on identity, history, and resilience, revealing the hidden narratives that shape our communities.

Inside this fragmented architecture, the layered interplay of old windows redraws Markham’s industrial panorama, slicing it into a multitude of living tableaux. At the heart of the structure, an isolated door opens onto the void, offering no destination other than reflection. Through this shift in perspective, the everyday landscape of the adjacent parking lot is metamorphosed into a visual work of art. The familiar tips into the unknown, and the very strangeness of the structure becomes, for the duration of a visit, a space of refuge and reconnection.
